Hijab Care Guide

Your Azlyf hijab is made to be worn often and cared for gently. A little attention helps preserve its softness, drape, and colour.

Washing

• Hand wash in cold water whenever possible.
• If machine washing, use a delicate cycle and place the hijab in a mesh laundry bag.
• Use a small amount of mild detergent.
• Wash with similar colours.
• Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and harsh stain removers.

Drying

• Gently press out excess water—do not wring or twist.
• Lay flat or hang to air dry away from direct sunlight.
• Avoid tumble drying, which may affect softness and shape.

Wrinkles and storage

• Use a garment steamer on a low setting.
• If ironing is needed, use low heat with a protective cloth between the iron and fabric.
• Store folded or on a smooth hanger in a cool, dry place.

Snag prevention

Keep the fabric away from rough jewellery, exposed zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners, and sharp pins. For everyday styling, smooth magnets or snag-free pins are the gentlest choice.
